The training course is of one year’s duration and will commence on January 6. 1964. Students will receive tuition from qualified Dietitians. APPLICATIONS are invited from General Medical Practitioners of at least one year’s standing for the positions of Obstetrical and Gynaecological House Surgeons, or of at least two years standing for the positions of Senior House Officers, National Women’s Hospital. The appointees will be required to commence .duty on January 1 1964, for a period of six months or longer. These positions are recognised as residential training for the M.R.C.O.G. and N.Z. Radiology Department. Auckland Hospital Board’s Institutions. These Registrarships are primarily training positions for Medical Officers wishing to qualify in Radiology and the successful applicants will be expected to work for either the D.C.R. (Aust.) or the D.M.R.D. (London) examinations. full training for which will be given. The Auckland Hospitals are recognised as a Training Centre both by the Examining Board in England of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and by the Australasian College of Radiologists. Time spent in these positions will count towards the four years qualifying time necessary for the granting of Overseas Study Leave to Junior Medical Officers The salary scales in respect of these positions are in accordance with the Hospital Employment (Medical Officers’) Regulations, 1957, viz: Junior Registrar: £1285-1370-1420 plus £2OO living-out allowance. AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD JUNIOR OR SENIOR PATHOLOGY REGISTRAR BOARDS INSTITUTIONS APPLICATIONS are Invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners who are eligible to Qualify as either a “Junior” or “Senior’’ Registrar under the Hospital Employment (Medical Officers') Regulations. 1963, for the position of:— JUNIOR OR SENIOR PATHOLOGY REGISTRAR. Board's Institutions. This Registrarship is primarily a training position, and preparation for the M.D. (N.Z.) in Pathology is expected during a three-vear period of rotating appointments. Tutorial assistance will be provided. The appointment is primarily for those interested in Pathology as a career, but applicants for a shorter period of training will also be considered.
