Wilkinson (Canterbury) tied for first place in the New Zealand schoolboys’ chess championships which ended in Dunedin today Both players drew their last match Final results were: R. Gordon (Wellington) beat P Fraemohs (Canterbury); A. Wilkinson (Canterbury) drew wttn M Robb (Otago); G Kerr (Otago) drew with R Metge (Auckland): G. Turner (Auckland) drew with M. Mackay (Wellington)
Final points Were: Turner and Wilkinson SJ, Robb 5, Meige. Kerr, Gordon 3J. Mackay 1. Fraemohs j.
