Total Sales Increase (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept 6. Australian Consolidated Industries, Ltd., has announced consolidated net profit for the year as £2.694,821. The annual report today said the company had increased total sales in Australia and overseas during 1962-63 in line with the gradual improvement in economic conditions. Total shareholders’ funds of the group rose £5,400,000 to £46,100,000 to June 30. The capital assets reserve has risen from £1,503,585 to £2,276,034 following the public flotation of Malayan Containers, Ltd. Ordinary dividend was held at 8 1-3 per cent, the report said. Investments, including shares in other companies, moved up from £3,900,000 to £5,200,000 during the year.
