TAP DANCE WIN

Chch Pair At Ashburton

Tap and ballet dancing concluded foe Ashburton competitions last evening. The final class, the tap duo. any age, was of a very good standard, said foe judge, Miss P. Trimmer, of Wanganui. The winning pair, Patricia and Maureen Adair (Christchurch) was of a particularly high standard, she said. A demonstration concert at which most of foe winners will perform, will be held this afternoon and evening.

Car Turned On Side.— Two men in a car which left Marshland road, near Pres•ons road, and turned over on its side in a water table yesterday afternoon, were not injured. The car was towed away by a breakdowr van.
