HOLIDAY IN OTAGO
Suggestion By Mayor (N.Z. Press Association) > DUNEDIN. August 25. A suggestion that the Queen Mother might spend a holiday in the Otago lakes district during her visit to New Zealand next February was made tonight by the Mayor of Dunedin (Mr T. K. S. Sidey).
Mr Sidey will write to the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake > asking if Otago can be included in the Queen Mother’s itinerary. “I hope she will come to Dunedin, but if she can't, that she will be able to have a holiday in Otago," Mr Sidey said. “There is plenty of scope for a holiday, and X believe the Queen Mother is interested in fishing.”
