COMMERCIAL Good Gains By N.Z. Shares Yesterday
. Several of the less frequently-traded issues made good gains yesterday. Armstrong and Springhall, in first business since July 8, rose 4s to 40s and N.Z. United Consolidated, last traded on March 29, gained 3s 4d to 17s 3d. Both leading and second-rank issues were again very firm yesterday. Manufacturers’ and Retailers’ Acceptance, down Is 6d, made the only appreciable loss. Overseas issues were also firm.
