Clegg (Taranaki). N.Z. Invitatibn Team v. Malaya.—Purser (captain), Higgins A. M. Stephens (Waikato). M. Cooke (Auckland); F. Coetzer (Wellington), reserve. New Zealand v. Malaya.—Higgins. Long, Purser, J. E. Robson (Auckland), captain: Stephens (reserve). South Island v. South Africa. —R. Reid (Otago), Thompson (captain). Miss J. Davidson (Canterbury). Miss K. Williams (Canterbury). Hinton and Miss S. Field (Otago) (reserves). North Island v. losers of first round Thomas Cup—Higgins (captain), Purser, Misses M. Moorhead (Taranaki) and G. K. Tompkins (Wellington). Long and Miss G. Simpson (Auckland) (reserves). The New Zealand and New Zealand colts teams to play South Africa have yet to be selected These two teams will be named at the conclusion of the; New Zealand championships io.
