West Indians In Command (N.Z.P A.-Reuter—Copyright) TRENT BRIDGE. Aug. 30. Nottinghamshire, batting at a crawl, scored 224 runs in six hours against the West Indies, 1 at Trent Bridge yesterday. The county still needed 88 runs to avoid an innings defeat. Notts were all out in their first innings for 143 in reply to the touring team's 314.
