Trotting Owners Hold Ball
The Canterbury Trotting Owners’ and Breeders’ Association held, its annual ball in the Winter Garden on Monday evening. Guests were welcomed by Mr E. T. Hubbard, president of the association, and Mrs Hubbard. Specially-invited guests included Mr W. H. Roche, president Of the New Zealand Trotting Conference; Mr and Mrs J. K. Davidson, New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club; Mr and Mrs L. S. Smart, Canterbury Park Trotting Club; Mr and Mrs W. F. Stark, New Brighton Trotting Club; and Mr and Mis J. Rowley, secretary of the New Zealand Trotting Conference.
