Horses And Riders - For Australia (N.Z. Press Association) ' GISBORNE, Aug. 19. The New Zealand show jumping team will leave by ship and plane for a two months’ tour of Australia in the next six days. The horses Treason (C. Mould, of Otago), Cassidy (H. V. Thompson, of Hawke’s Bay), Summer Knight (G. Wood, of Hawke's Bay), Tide (R. B. Hansen, of Gisbore), Syndicate (C. Matthews, of Gisborne) and Saba Sam (R. B. Burke as manager, and a second groom, Mr S. Mitchell, will fly to Australia from Auckland between Monday and Friday next week. Mrs A. P. Webb, of Hunterville, who was selected in the original team, was unlucky. Her horse, Rawahine, broke down in the final training session. It was the third time Mrs Webb had been training for a New Zealand team and had not succeeded. The reserve horse, Mr G. von Dadleson's Summer Knight, a former racehorse, was brought in to fill the vacancy. The Gisborne horses were trained in Gisborne under the direction of M. C. Bolgar, who also directed the schooling of the other horses in the team in Hawke’s Bay.
