MINOR FIRES
A small fire to the wiring of a fan heater in a villa at the Templeton Farm School was attended by units from the Sockburn and Sydenham stations at 9.23 a.m. yesterday.
A unit from the Woolston station extinguished a chimney fire at the home of Mr R. N. McGrath, 78 Wildberry street, at 10.5 a.m. An oven fire at the home of Mr L. R. Gracie, 66 Shortland street, was attended by one unit from the Woolston station at 3.8 p.m.
