COMMERCIAL Share Prices Steady In Quiet Market
Of 70 New Zealand shares traded yesterday, 44 were done at unchanged prices, 15 were firmer and 11 were easier. The only notable fall was South British Insurance, down 9d at 575. cl ii Farmers’ Freezing rose Is 6d. McLeod Bros. Is 6d and } kellerup Industries Is. Both leaders and second-rank issues made slightly more gains than losses. Overseas issues were also steady.
