FARM FORESTRY FINANCE Loans for planting and tending woodlots In continuation of its policy of encouraging farm forestry Government intends to offer loans next year for planting trees, and tending existing plantations. Applications are invited from private owners for loons as above (including preparatory and protective, works in connection therewith) and subsequent tending. Forms may be obtained from any Forest Service office. Closing date for applications —3l si August, 1963. MINIMUM area: 5 acres. MAXIMUM area: 100 acres in any tve year period. MAXIMUM loom: £25 per acre for planting, £l5 per acre later for pruning and thinning, for a term of 40 yean or to year of Enol real ■ration, whichever is the sooner. •NtEIEST: 5% payable annually.
