Dr. Moore Collapses
/(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) LAUNCESTON (Cornwall), August 20 Dr. Barbara Moore, the 59-year-old long-distance walker, collapsed in Launceston last night from exhaustion after completing 80 miles of her 1000-mile marathon from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. Dr. Moore, a vegetarian, set off on Sunday to do the trip a second time. She did the journey in had weather in 1960 in 21 days. On Sunday she said: "1 decided this time to see Britain In better weather.” She had a slice of lemon for breakfast and set off alone.
