Request On Tourist Bill
The City Council has asked the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) to set up a select committee to hear evidence on the Tourist and Publicity Bill. The request was suggested by Cr. L. Christie, who said the present bill did not cover entirely what many interested parties and persons wanted.
An economic planning unit is being set up in Fiji.
