COMMERCIAL Quiet, Steady Start To Week’s Trading
Share trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday got away to a quiet start with a generally steady note prevailing. Most upward fluctuations by New’ Zealand issues were marginal.
Among New Zealand shares Early Brothers rose 8d to Ils 6d ex *1 l ew Zealand Newspapers at 51s 3d and Pye Electronics at 43s 6d both added 6d, while Ross and Glendining gained 6d to a peak 23s 3d for the year.
Overseas shares were in balance. C.8.A., Bank of N.S.W., Feltex, • Jd B -H.P. were among Australian leaders to gain, while A.C.1., C.S.R., G. J. Coles, H. C. Sleigh, Waltons and Mount Isa lost ground.
