£1m Building For Car Park
(NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 19. The Auckland City Council decided tonight to proceed with negotiations for the purchase of land for a £1 million car park building at foe corner of Albert and Swanson streets, capable of bolding 1100 cars. The finance committee endorsed a traffic committee recommendation to proceed with the scheme subject to the council acquiring property at a price which would enable the car park to be run economically.
