Schoolboys To Visit Asia
The first goodwill study tour of Asia by New Zealand schoolboys will start on August 24 when six senior pupils and a master at Wanganui Technical College will leave Wellington for Singapore, Malaya, and Thailand. The party will be away for three weeks. They will spend a week in each country. While in Malaya, the group will go to Malacca. Kuala Lumpur, and Penang. Their programme in Thailand includes a visit to a Bangkok snake farm and a trip to Kanchanabuiri to see the bridge on the Kwai river.
