Tekau Knitwear Profit Down
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 16. Final accounts of Tekau Knitwear, Ltd, for the year to May 19. show a profit of £64,924, subject to final audit and tax. Consolidated profit before fax last year was £96.405. The company says the reduced profit arises from adverse trading conditions during the last months of the trading year. Recommended final dividends are 5 per cent, ordinary, making a steady 9 per cent, for the year, and 21 per cent, preference, making a steady 5 per cent.; ex dividend September 16.
