Mother Of 17 Dies At 91
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 9. Mrs Catherine McNeil, the mother of 17 children, has died in Auckland at the age of 91. She was born in Liverpool and arrived in New Zealand when she was two. Her husband, the late Mr J. A. McNeil, was a gold miner and the couple lived mostly in Coromandel. They had more than 200 direct descendants. Eight sons and six daughters are still living.
