RACE TRIALS OFF
The Canterbury Trotting Owners’ and Breeders’ Association has had to abandon plans to hold race trials before the first day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s national meeting at Addington next Saturday. This was announced yesterday by Mr E. G. Mitchell, secretary of the association. The association had hoped to hold the trials early next week but the Rangiora track is too wet to use and Addington Is not available. The trials were to have been held at Rangiora last Thursday but had to be postponed because of rain.
