The appointee will be required to teach the general engineering surveying needed for the Diploma in Land Surveying as well as those aspects of municipal engineering concerned with the design of land subdivisions (roading. watersupply. sewerage, etc.). Applicants should be either Registered Surveyors or holders of a recognised civil engineering qualification, or tenth, with experience (preferably under New Zealand conditions) in the above types of work. Further information, conditions of appointment, etc., may be obtained from the Registrars of the other Universities in New Zealand or from the undersigned with whom applications close on September 30. 1953. The appointee will be expected to commence his teaching duties on February 3. 1964. but it would be an advantage if he could take up his appointment as soon as possible in 1963.
