WS NORTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY COUNCIL VACANCIES Nominations are invited to reach the undersigned not later than August 31. 1963, from registered members of the above society to fill vacancies on the council occuring in respect of the following districts:— (1) The City of Christchurch and Boroughs of Lyttelton and Riccarton. and the Counties of Waimairl and Heathcote. Four Members (2) The Counties of Ellesmere, Springs, Hal swell, Paparua, Mount Herbert. Akaroa. Wairewa, and the Borough of Akaroa. and the Town - Districts of Leeston and Southbridge. One Member Nominations must indicate the district within which the nominee resides and in respect of which he is nominated. All such nominations shall bear the signature of the proposer, seconder and nominee, who must all be registered members of the society. A general ballot of members will be held not later than 14 days after the annual meeting of the society in November next, for the purpose of filling such vacancies. August 12, 1963. the following provisions will apply: (1) Refuse collected will be limited to — Householders. 1 tin. Business Premieses: 2 tins with I additional tin where occupiers live on the premises. Each tin must not exceed the standard size of 2j cub. ft. (2) One collection only will be made per week. In Lyttelton this will be made on Mondays Should a public holiday fall on a Monday the, collection will be made on the next working day. The collection at Diamond Harbour will be made on each Wednesday. (3) All refuse bins must be placed on the edge of the kerb by 730 a m on the day of the collection.
