Share Market Closes On Steady Note
Share trading closed the week on a steady note yesterday. Leaders showed slightly more rises than falls. Most New Zealand price changes were among second-rank issues. John Bums. last traded a week ago, gained Is to 24s in Auckland. Other New Zealand gains were narrow. Price change margins were also narrow among overseas issues. Cox Brothers recovered 3d to 4s 6d and Courtaulds, after peak profit announcement, gained 4d to 17s 4d.
