TYPHOID CASE
Inoculations At School (N Z. Press Association) • WANGANUI, August 7. More Shan 80 typhoid inoculations were carried out at Aramoho School this morning after notification that a six-year-old boy who attended class there bad contracted typhoid fever. The child is under treatment in Wanganui Hospital, which reported his condition as moderately ill. The Health Department moved swiftly when laboratory tests proved that the child was a positive typhoid case. Home contacts, including some adults who have since left the city, were quickly traced and inoculated. The department advised the parents of other children in Araimoho's infant block to have typhoid shots and more than 80 of these were given al the school this morning.
