MAN KILLED
Power-cycle, Van Collide A power-cyclist suffered fatal head injuries in a collision with a van in Gloucester street. 220 yards east of Fitzgerald avenue. at 449 p.m. yesterday. Police late last evening were still trying to trace relatives of the dead man. who is aged about 60 His name has been withheld from publication in the meantime. The accident happened outside the driveway of a block of flats. Hie van driver was Mr Graham Edmond Pilkington, a food shop proprietor, of 49 Aorangi road. Bryndwr. The dead man was taken by St. John Ambulance io the Christchurch Hospital. He was found to be dead on arrival Any witnesses of the accident are asked to notify the police motor accidents branch.
