(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. July 29. It was inevitable that Britain would eventually enter the European Economic Community and New Zealand and Australia should use the breathing space to hunt for new markets and reorganise i their Systems of subsidies and protective tariffs, Mr M. F. Strutt, a London director of Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd., said in Auckland today. For Britain, a highly mechanised primary production country, there were innumerable outlets for her farm products in Europe, particularly for wheat. New Zealand should push mutton sales to Japan and look for trade with all nations. The likelihood of a SovietNew Zealand trade pact was an example of what could and should be done, he said.
