LABOUR RALLY
Election Plan In Auckland (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 29. The Labour Party is planning a mass rally in the Auckland Domain on Sunday, November 3. about the time for the opening of the General Election campaign. The speakers are expected to be the party leader. Mr Nordmeyer, and the actingpresident of the Federation of Labour, Mr T. E. Skinner. It will be the first largescale gathering held in the open by the Labour Party in Auckland for more than 20 years. Mr Nordmeyer has made a "very tentative” arrangement to open his campaign in the Auckland Town Hall on November 6. The National Party has a booking of the Town Hall on November 19 for the Prime Minister, Mr Holyoake. There is no indication, as yet, where he will begin his campaign.
