Slightly Steadier Tone In Trading
Trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday followed a steadier tone, with New Zealand issues not so firm as the day before and overseas shares almost in balance. The best gains of the day were made by South Otago Freezing, K.P. Drug ex dividend. Motor Specialties, Marac, Hay’s notes, C.B.A. and Ampol 1967 notes. Overseas leaders again lost ground, among them National Mortgage, Feltex, 8.H.P., Colonial Sugar and Mount Isa.
