Soviet Policy Reaffirmed
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) MOSCOW. July 23 Russia and Hungary Last night reaffirmed Russia’s policy of peaceful coexistence, tihe British United Press reported. Their statement was published in a communique adter the departure of the Hungarian Prime Minister (Mt Janos Kadar) after a 12-day visit to Russia. “There is a read possibility of averting a world thermonuclear war and of excluding it from the life of human society,’’ it said. But it referred 'to the “predatory nature of imperialism, that is fraught with the danger of uniteashing a world thermonuclear war.”
Accusing the West of encouraging a nuclear missile arms race, it said: “Socialist States have to display maximum vigilance and take appropriate measures to strengthen their defensive might.’’
