Chocolate Tea Bread
Ingredients: soz butter 3oz caster sugar 3oz moist brown sugar 2 eggs Boz self-raising flour, . sifted Milk to mix loz walnuts, roughly chopped 2oz grated chocolate '
Method: Grease and line an oblong cake tin, 6 by 10 inches. Cream the butter and sugars till light and fluffy, then beat in the eggs one at a time. Gradually fold in the flour. Mix with a little milk to a dropping consistency and lastly add the nuts and the grated chocolate. Place in the tin, make a slight hollow in the centre, dust with sugar, put on a low shelf in a moderate oven (mark 4) and bake for It hours. (Makes 20 slices.)
