British Honduras. Britain* only Central American colony, will have full internal self-government on January 1.
The decision was given in a communique at the end of 12-day constitutional talks in London between the Colonial Office and a British Honduras delegation.
The communique said the constitutional proposals agreed ar, the conference will provide for a ministerial system of full internal self-gov-ernment with a two-chamber
legislature—a House of Representatives and a Senate Under the new constitution the 8866 square-miles heavilyforested territory and its 90.000 people will have their first Premier.
He is expected to be Mr George Price, die Colony's First Minister and leader of the Peoples United Party, which now holds all 18 elected seats in the present Legislative Assembly.
