Cathedral Square
Sir, —I think the centre zone should be reserved for buses and all other motor traffic gyrate round the Square. This would make the zone safe for pedestrians and reduce traffic congestion by having only buses coming out from the zone. With the proposed pedestrian tunnel connecting the sides of the Square with the centre zone jay walking would be eliminated so why should bus passengers be denied a compact transport system and givfen a lily pond instead?— Yours, etc., C FITZGERALD.
