LOST SHIP FOUND
Plane Gives Position (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 23 A Royal New Zealand Air Force Sunderland aircraft this morning found the lost trading vessel. Aolele, 30 miles south of Nukunono in the Tokelau Island group, the R.N.Z.A.F. reported. The Aolele reported to Apia by radio that it was lost on the 830-mile voyage from Western Samoa to Nukunono.
The Sunderland gave the Aolele its position and reported that the ship was proceeding to Nukunono.
