Forger Sent To Borstal

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, July 8 Perry Sullivan, workman, aged 20, of Napier, who forged £662 worth of cheques which the Bank of New South Wales, Napier, cashed, was today sentenced to borstal training. Sullivan was sentenced by Mr W. A. Harlow, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Napier on three charges of forgery and one of theft. For Sullivan, Mr J. Donovan said the defendant had agreed to sign his car over to the bank in payment.
