Yearling Filly Destroyed

i A yearling filly by Resurg- ; ent from Chilo was destroyed at Riccarton yesterday after she had fractured a shoulder. The filly was being exercised on the sand by the stable apprentice. W. Martin, when she stumbled and fell. It is not known whether the fracture caused her to fall or whether she injured the shoulder when she fell. The filly, a half-sister to ! the open-class galloper, Bador. i was trained for Mr W. H I Williamson, of Christchurch, tby J. R. Shaw.
