NEW ALLIANCE MOVE
Carpet Plant Interest (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. July 8. Alliance Textiles, Ltd.. Oamaru has acquired an interest in Bremworth Carpet Company, Ltd., Papatoetoe, and its parent company, Bremner and Bremner. Ltd., Auckland wholesaler and importer. Both are private companies. The deal assures Alliance a customer for between 500,000 and 1.000 0001 b of carpet yarn a year. Consideration Consideration was an undisclosed number of shares Bremworth Carpet Company was established in 1959 and is one of the largest broadloom carpet producers m the country. It makes Wilton carpet on the American an -1 British designs and has access to United States technical informaition. Bremworth has so far bought its yarns from several manufacturers. The deal with Alliance obviates the necessity for the carpet company to install its own yarn spinning plant.
