Asian Campaign To Be Launched
The Catholic Youtfh Movement will launch an Aslan campaign among its members this month. The aim is to educate the members of the movement and the persons with whom they come in contact in the spiritual and temporal needs of the peoples in undeveloped countries of Asia, and show them the many problems that are facing the people. The movement will also help .\sia materially. It will support C.0.R.5.0. with cash and clothing collections, and will raise funds for specific targets by holding functions. Over the last four years £2OOO has been raised by the group. This year the opening evening will be held at MaryknoM on July 16 at 7.30 p.m. A film, "Food and Famine,” will be shown, a guest speaker from Hong Kong will describe conditions, and there will be a discussion and reports'- ,on Asian campaign activities. The campaign will last for two months. A special Mass will be heM in the Cathedra! of the Blessed Sacrament in September to finish this year’s campaign.
