Five Treated In Hospital
Five children each spent a day in the children’s ward of the Christchurch Hospital last week after swallowing toxic substances.
A girl of two took an unknown number of morningsickness tablets, a boy of 10 months and another of 18 months each drank kerosene. a boy of two drank a unknown quantity of an unknown liquid, and a girl of two years 11 months drank disinfectant.
