Indoor Basketball Rex A Kept Busy To Beat Holy Trinity B

The leading team* recorded wins when the Canterbury women's indoor basketball competition* were continued at Cowles Stadium last evening Rex A failed to dteplay the teamwork which wa* a feature of it* play last week, and wa* at times hard pressed by Holy Trinity B. Although Rex had ample possession lit was hesitant on attack and its offensive play lacked cohesion. J. Taylor again passed well to play her forwards. B. Taylor and B. Curry, into shooting positions, but mishandling lost Rex many opportunities, and close guarding by N. Tregoning and J. Cusdin bustled Rex into attempting hurried shots. Th* interception* gained by these players were quickly capitalised and M. Doherty and C. Sullivan impressed with good cutting and accurate shooting.
