Motor Racing Watkin’s Glen Grand Prix

(N.Z. Pratt Attn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, June 30. R. Holbert, of Pennsylvania, today won the Watkins Glen Grand Prix in a Porsche. He covered the 189-miles course in 2hr smin 39 Bsec, at an average speed of 90.63 miles an hour.

H. Swan, of Ohio, also driving a Porsche, was second with a time of 2hr 6min 18. S sec. Only .1.7*00 behind him was K. Miles, of California, in a Shelby-Ford Cobra. Earlier, Shelby-Ford Cobras took four of the first five positions in the 1914-miles United States road racing manufacturers’ championship. R. Johnson, of Ohio, with a time of 98min 38.4 sec, won the event.
