Mutton For Japan
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 30
The Kyokko Maru sailed from Auckland at the weekend with 2400 tons of mutton, the biggest single shipment for some years from N<w Zealand to Japan. The ship made a special call to load the meat at Bluff. Timaru. Wellington, and Auckland.
The Kyokko Maru « a factory ship which processes whale meat in the whaling season.
The ship would be back again in August for another special mutton cargo.
