MURDER OF SCHOOLGIRL
Married Man Charged

Police last night charged the father of two children with the murder of a 12-year-old English migrant schoolgirl. Monica Schofield. The man is 24 years old. 6ft 3in tall, and a fitter by trade. He lives on a boat at the Sydney suburb of Cammeray with his wife and children, a boy and girl. The man was charged at Liverpool police station at 9.10 p m., more than two hours and a half after he had been flown from Grafton. 450 miles north of Sydney, in a Royal Australian Air Force Dakota He will appear m the Liverpool Police Court tomorrow and is expected to be re--1 manded.
