Mrs Marjorie Cumberland, wife of Professor K. B. Cumberland. professor of geography at Auckland University, died suddenly tonight. Sirs Cumberland, who was born in Yorkshire, and came to New Zealand in 1940. was 48
During the nine years in which her husband was a member of the Auckland City Council. Mrs Cumberland attended every meeting of the council and took an active interest in city affairs She is survived by her husband. one son and two daughters.
