The church’s session had sent a request to, the Presbytery that street appeals and door-to-door collections for the Children’s Combined Trust Board appeal, be replaced with a new method of collection The minister of St. Ninian’s Church (the Rev. R. J. Griffiths) said that his session supported this request. The matter had already been discussed in a meeting in March, said the clerk of the Presbytery (the Rev. T. G. Campbell) and nothing more could be done till a new method was suggested. Neither minister had any suggestions.
