Changed Plans For Dane
"The Preu" Special Service AUCKLAND, June 12.
The Takanini three-year-old, Dane, did not start his trip to Melbourne today as planned. A last-minute setback in shipping arrangements kept him at home. Dane was to have been shipped from Tauranga. His trainer, D. R. Cameron, said that he was told by the shipping agents in the early hours of yesterday that ,’i was now not possible to travel Dane from Tauranga. It is probable that Dane will now be shipped from Auckland. All going weU. he should get away within a week or so.
