MARGARINE IN FORCES
Allegation By Dairymen

WELLINGTON, June 12.
The Government was using 600 tons of margarine a year at the expense of butter, it was claimed at the conference of the dairy section of Federated Farmers today. Mr S. Herbert, Otago, made the charge when moving a remit. He said the margarine was being used by the Army and Navy. The matter was referred to the Dominion council for investigation.
