“Solution Will Be Found”
Whether or not the parking ban in Colombo street was to be continued was not for him to say, so there was no question of his issuing any ultimatum, said Cr. T. D. Flint, chairman of the city council’s traffic committee, last evening
He said he had assured a meeting of businessmen yesterday afternoon that the traffic committee would be prepared to meet and discuss their problems, and that any suggestions or alternatives they had to solve the council’s problems would be much appreciated. “I am confident that a solution can and will be found.” he said, “and for' this reason T am particularly anxious that there be no misunderstanding or suggestion of an ultimatum.”
