Bayline Has New Trainer

Bayline, winner of the Dunedin Steeplechase on Saturday, has joined H A. and H. T Anderton’s stable at Wingatui. He will be prepared for the Grand National Steeplechase at Riccarton in August. On the strength of his numerous duels with No Offence, the impressive winner of the McGregor Grant Steeplechase at Ellerslie on Saturday. Bayline’s class as a cross-country runner must be rated highly The Fire Light eight-year-old was formerly trained by his South Hillend owner, W V. Langford. He has been ridden throughout his career by the owner's son, K Lang ford, who holds an amateur rider’s licence
