Writ Against Miss Keeler

Mr Robin Drury, a Canadian living in London, said last night he had instructed his solicitors to issue a writ against the 21-year-old model, Christine Keeler, whose friendship with the former War Minister, Mr John Profumo, has touched off a major political scandal Mr Drury said the writ alleged wrongful dismissal as her business manager. The “Daily Telegraph” today quoted Mr Drury as saying: “Miss Keeler came to me and asked me to act for her. A contract between us was drawn up but not actually signed. I intend to fight her over this. It has left me high and dry. I shall find it difficult to get other work.”
